K-2 ELA Teacherktorressgmission.orgHello, my name is Ms. Torres and this is my second year at San Gabriel Mission teaching English Language Arts and my third year teaching. I have previously taught at St. Columbkille in South Los Angeles. I earned my bachelors degree from Cal State Northridge. I have worked with children for about 9 years now as a teacher aide, daycare teacher, and therapist. I believe each of these positions have prepared me well to be a teacher. I was born in Mexico and grew up in Los Angeles at an early age. I currently live in Alhambra and am happy to be part of this awesome community. I have always loved school as a child and I hope to give my students the same wonderful experience I had.
