Congratulations to ALL our junior high girls for competing in this year's Ramona Challenge! We are so proud of all the girls for representing Mission Elementary so well and for bringing home the following awards:

• 1st place - 7/8th gr. STEM Rubber Band Car Competition
• 2nd place- 5/6th gr. STEM Rubber Band Car Competition
• 1st place in Poetry
• 2nd place in Digital Photography
• 2nd place in Short Story
• 2nd place in Theology
• 3rd place in Improvisational Acting

Mission Troop 8451 In The Community

On Saturday, March 21st, Mission Troop 8451 was invited to participate in the Grand Opening of E.H. Financial, a small financial advisory business that has relocated in the community. Troop 8451 showed their service to the community by providing lemonade and Girl Scout cookies to invited guests, residents, and civic leaders like newly elected Mayor Jason Pu and Assemblyman Ed Chau. Congratulations to our Academic Decathlon Team!

CONGRATULATIONS! our Academic Decathlon Team who participated in Cathedral High School’s Academic Quiz Bowl. Our Decathlon Team was among 23 schools competing in this event. Three of our team members were awarded ribbons for their performance in Religion, English, and Science. Our students will continue their preparation for the upcoming Archdiocese of Los Angeles Junior High Academic Decathlon at the Sports Arena. As always, we ask that you keep our team in your thoughts and prayers.
