Congratulations to our Speech & Debate Team as well as their Moderator, Ms. Johnson, on their recent competition. Awards were won in the following events: Story Telling - 2nd, 4th & 5th place and Public Forum Debate - two 3rd place winners. Congratulations to all!

Speech and Debate Team Compete

Congratulations to our Speech & Debate Team who went through two rounds of competition this week. Five of our 15 students took 3rd and 4th place in their events while competing against five other schools. We are so proud of our students as they start off the season with great success!

Trick-or-Treat for Unicef Service Learning Project

Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF helps provide kids in need with health care, clean water, nutrition, education, emergency relief and more. Mission’s 8th grade organized a Halloween-Gram sale to raise money for this project. In addition 6th and 7th graders are helping by collecting money in their Trick-or-Treat boxes.

Students host their own LIVING MUSEUM

Ms. Ferraro and her students put on a LIVING MUSEUM of the founders - Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo, Sebastian Cermeno, Sebastian Vizcaino, Gaspar de Portola, and Francis Drake. Parents were able to learn about the founders through presentations and enactments by the students.
