Science Fair Kicks Off Our New STEM Center Focus

The Science Fair during Catholic Schools Week was a perfect opportunity for Mission Elementary to kick off it's new STEM Center focus.  Our 6th-8th grade students did an AMAZING job of presenting their science projects in front of our esteemed judges: Mrs. Juli Costanzo, Mayor of San Gabriel, our generous benefactor Mr. Robert Navarro (donor of our new 3-D printer), Mr. Ben Freeman, Science teacher and our students’ favorite substitute, and Dr. Anthony Freeman, Ph.D. in Astrophysics, and Manager of the Innovation Foundry at JPL.  We celebrate the creativity, critical thinking and overall work ethic of our students as they impressed our judges with their projects. GO SPARTANS!
