A Guide To Happy Lunch Procedures
“Happy Lunch” is a family-owned business that strives to provide a quality lunch program for the children at San Gabriel Mission Elementary School.
In an effort to maintain an affordable lunch program, it is essential that all lunches be paid for prior to receiving lunch.
HOT LUNCH COST
Lunches are available at the cost of:
Grades 1 - 4 $3.75
Grades 5 – 8 $4.00
An extra drink may be purchased for an additional 75ȼ;
An extra serving of the main entrée may be purchased for an additional $2.00;
An extra serving of the side dish may be purchased for an additional $1.75;
A Double Double may be purchased on Hamburger day for an additional $1.75;
An extra slice of pizza may be purchased for an additional $1.50
Extra must be ordered and paid in advance.
Daily Lunch Payment – You may purchase lunch on a daily basis.
Pre-Paid Lunch Payment - You may pre-pay for lunch on a weekly, monthly or semester basis. Enclose payment (Cash or Check) in a labeled envelope, baggie or any enclosure with the student’s name & grade, and submit payment to the teacher or office by 8:30am. If you wish to order lunch for the entire month, please count the number of days the student will be eating lunch and pre-pay accordingly. If the student does not use all the pre-paid days, credit is applied to the following month.
You do not need to indicate the date the student will be eating lunch, a lunch count is taken each morning in the classroom.
FORGOT YOUR LUNCH OR LUNCH MONEY
In an effort to maintain the lunch program at an affordable price, it is essential that all lunches be paid for prior to receiving lunch.
Happy Lunch understands the student may forget to bring their lunch payment. Therefore, we have provided the following guidelines:
Students will be allowed (1) one IOU. An unpaid balance notice will be sent via student.
Additional lunches WILL NOT be provided without payment. Thank you
